December 4th, 2008
The AMA has long been known to put on outstanding events to help marketers to CONNECT LEARN & GROW. In keeping with that tradition the AMA is proud to add a series of four networking evenings to the events portfolio. On Thursday December 4th, 2008 the AMA invites you to the Straight Lounge to enjoy your first cocktail on us, and we will ensure you have all the tools necessary to network like a pro. Meet a new friend, likeminded marketer, potential business partner... or your next employer, the opportunities are endless!
The evening will include great tips from the book ‘Never Eat Alone’ by uber networker Keith Ferrazzi. In a world where our days are structured down to the minute, it becomes clear that we need to be smarter in how we network. One lucky winner will leave with a signed copy of Ferrazzi’s book.

Come and hear our panel of category-busters and experts talk about the trends and hot spots, new models, the new currency in consumer loyalty and best practices for the future.
- Where are the big funders investing and why?
- What ‘return’, if any, are they looking for?
- What do they ‘value’ most from non–profits? And conversely what do they consider red flags or non-starters?
- What are examples of some great win–win–win partnerships: Good for Society, Good for the Non-profit, and Good for Business?
- And what does it take to find/create those?
